Sustainability

We have committed to keeping our business operations as energy efficient as possible:

• We do not run an office, we do all our business from home

• We use recycled computer equipment and only print documents when legally required

• We do not run company vehicles, using personal cars to travel to planting sites only

• Energy for our homes is provided by sustainable energy companies and minimised through efficient heating systems

We over plant by approximately 20% each year to ensure natural loss is accounted for and to offset our own energy use.

By planting only native Irish trees such as Oak, Hazel, Rowan (Mountain Ash), Scots Pine, Alder, Beech and Silver Birch in selected west of Ireland sites we promote biodiversity and create habitats for native species.

Catch My Carbon only work with landowners who sign up to their code of ethics to ensure the trees are never harvested, and through a rigorous independent audit we are assured of the processes they use to plant and maintain our trees, every year,
