Plant Trees for One Year of Driving
Planting trees in Ireland can significantly benefit motoring and the environment. Trees play a crucial role in absorbing carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas emitted by vehicles, and releasing oxygen through photosynthesis. By increasing the green cover, not only do trees contribute to mitigating climate change, but they also improve air quality. In the long run, this initiative could contribute to a healthier atmosphere, reduce carbon footprint, and improve sustainability in the context of motoring in Ireland.
A typical passenger vehicle emits about 2.9 metric tons of CO2 per year in Ireland for 17,000 km.
We will plant 14 native Irish trees to cover the emissions from one year of driving and create a personalised certificate for you.
